OEDILF outage while server site is moved

The information posted in the OEDILF forum seemed to say that this outage would end on Saturday, July 28, 7:00 p.m. U.S. EDT.

However, the site still won't load for me this morning. I guess we will all just have to be patient. < sigh >

Here's a neighbor's lovely little four-by-eight foot vegetable garden, complete with peppers, tomatoes, corn, beans, sunflowers, squash, and, away in the back, a large, ripe pumpkin. Photo taken July 27, 2007.

It's officially spring. And has been for four days now. Here in Tennessee we hit 80 degrees Fahrenheit by afternoon, three days in a row, under bright sun, though plagued a bit by the gusty winds.

I took the camera out and shot daffodils, tulips, and "tulip trees."
This showy tree is in the magnolia family, though in common speech around here it's sometimes mistakenly called "tulip poplar."

OEDILF is back up!

It's partially up, anyway, and emerging from the disk crash valiantly, thanks to Virge's hard work.

There are new posts to read in the OEDILF Forum. Only a little longer until the database is almost completely repaired and the WorkShop back in action. (And if we're lucky with a recovery from the failed HD, not just an "almost completely" but a "totally" repaired database. Fingers crossed.)

Hooray! I'm celebrating with a spring dandelion.

Tennessee Spring 2007

OEDILF is still down. :(

Most of the usual spring flowers are still underground. The only exceptions are a few dandelions showing their bright yellow faces. Where is the forsythia's matching yellow? Nowhere.

But the back yard silver maple is making an effort, displaying tiny pink catkins on the twigs shooting out from its massive old branches:
